Rammers Reduce Risk of Injury and Restrict Fuel Leaks

Multiquip's three new MTX-Series rammers — the MTX-70 (pictured), MTX-80 and MTX-90 — are designed to take the fatigue and strain out of compaction. “Engineering an effective anti-vibration system into each MTX Series rammer means operators will notice significantly reduced fatigue during and after the compaction process,” says Torsten Erbel, director of product development for Multiquip. “This not only improves performance but lowers the risk of injury caused through fatigue or long-term use.” The gasoline-powered models deliver up to 3,500 pounds of impact force for effective compaction of cohesive and mixed soils.
